For the 34th year, the League of Women Voters is seeking nominations for its Citizens of Achievement awards.

Gloria Anderson, president of the local League, said the organization is looking for people who have made a difference in their San Bernardino area communities.

"We're looking for nominees who run the gamut of achievement - from those working with youth theater or people doing exceptional things in their jobs - to those who are unsung heroes," Anderson said.

Nominees can be men or women and there is no age restriction, said Anderson, who's served as League president for nearly seven years.
